Malia Burkhart is a multidisciplinary performing and teaching artist with training in visual arts, music, Butoh Dance, puppetry, stiltwalking, parades, pageants, and celebration arts.

Artist Residencies  Malia can come to your school to create a one-of-a-kind puppetry experience!  Special grants are available through the State Arts Board, for schools to host a residency!  She is on the State Arts Board Roster of teaching artists, as well as the teaching artist rosters for COMPAS, In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theater, and the East Side Arts Council.
